Keshi* Pearls are a kind of flat pearl that forms without a nucleus, so instead of creating a spherical shape, the nacre forms a disc. No two pairs are the same. I contrast these unique shapes with the preciseness of round freshwater pearls or cubic zirconia in the center. The earwires are sterling silver plated with 18k gold (vermeil), left sterling where they rest in the ear, and they clip closed in the back.
Sizes are listed next to individual earrings.
*Keshi is a Japanese word also meaning "poppy" (ケシ, 芥子).
