Mica Blossoms

These sculptural earrings are made of the mineral mica, layered together with translucent shellac, creating a soft glow. I strive to compliment the natural texture and color of the mica with accents of 23k gold leaf, along with pearls. The goldfillled earwires clip closed in the back.
