Large Gold and Silver Black Pearl Mica Pods

My take on seed pods, these earrings are made of the mineral mica, layered together with translucent shellac, creating a soft amber or silvery glow. I strive to compliment the natural texture and color of the mica with accents of 23k gold leaf or silver leaf, along with iridescent "Raven's Wing" ("Black") pearls. The goldfilled earwires clip closed in the back.
