Large White Pearl Mica Pods

My take on seed pods, these earrings are made of the mineral mica, layered together with translucent shellac, creating a soft amber or silvery glow. I strive to compliment the natural texture and color of the mica with accents of 23k gold leaf, along with freshwater pearls. The goldfilled earwires clip closed in the back.
