Keshi* Pearls are a kind of flat pearl that forms without a nucleus, so instead of creating a spherical shape, the nacre forms a disc. No two pairs are the same. I highlight these unique shapes with 18k gold-vermeil or oxidized sterling silver "waves" and lively Australian opals or faceted gemstones. The connections allow the parts to move freely. Posts and backs are sterling silver.
Large: 1 7/8" long by 5/8" wide or more (see individual listings)
Small: 1 1/4" long by 1/2" wide.
*Keshi is a Japanese word also meaning "poppy" (ケシ, 芥子).
