Small Mica Manta

These earrings are made of the mineral mica, layered together with translucent shellac, creating a soft amber glow. I strive to compliment the natural texture and color of the mica with accents of 23k gold leaf, along with warm pearls and gemstones. I've added red copper Hiirodo discs with goldleaf to accent this pair. The 18k Gold-Vermeil earwires are left sterling at the top, and they clip closed in the back.
