Small Mica Manta

These earrings are made of the mineral mica, layered together with translucent shellac, creating a soft amber glow. I strive to compliment the natural texture and color of the mica with accents of 23k gold leaf, along with warm pearls and gemstones. The 18k Gold-Vermeil earwires are left sterling at the top, and they clip closed in the back. This pair has Hiirodo red copper discs, finished with goldleaf.
