Small Mica Double Circles with Gold Leaf

These earrings are made of the mineral mica, layered together with translucent shellac, creating a soft amber glow. I strive to compliment the natural texture and color of the mica with accents of 23k gold leaf. The goldfilled earwires clip closed in the back.
