Small "Batik" Oxidized Silver earrings with Hematites

The "Batik" collection is my variation on the patterning technique on cloth which uses a wax resist and dyes to create a design. I draw a lacquer resist on polished sterling, dip it in a solution which heavily tarnishes the exposed silver. Then I remove the resist and burnish the sterling shape leaving a satin gray pattern on the silver. These have 4mm Hematite Cabochons

The gold-plated earwires are left sterling at the top where they rest in the ear, and they all clip closed in the back.
